Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist [she/her/ella]
Alyssa Schaffer is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who is passionate about helping people reach their wellness goals through inclusive, holistic care. She specializes in digestive issues, chronic and acute pain, pregnancy, autoimmune conditions, menstrual irregularities, and fertility support. Her approach is warm, welcoming, and rooted in a belief that healing happens best when every body feels safe and seen.
Alyssa discovered holistic medicine in college after feeling disillusioned by gaps in the conventional medical system—especially as someone in a bigger body. She is dedicated to creating affirming care spaces for larger-bodied individuals and increasing access to acupuncture and herbal medicine in the Spanish speaking community. As a Colombian-American, she proudly offers services in both Spanish and English. Outside the clinic, Alyssa enjoys playing video games, experimenting in the kitchen, watching K-dramas, and doting on her two beloved cats.
